On the mythical port, the J.O 1946 store revives the ice cream pleasures that made the reputation of Céline Risso’s family. A know-how that has its origins in the summer of 1946, when the grandfather, Joseph Risso, made a name for himself in Sainte-Maxime, attracting a crowd of connoisseurs in search of quality ice creams. The seasons have passed and the reputation of the family’s ice creams has spread beyond the borders of the Var. This summer, Céline joins Olivier Temprado, to offer us the best, in an ideally placed and entirely redecorated store. “We present 19 ice creams and 9 sorbets”, says the duo, insisting on the selection of exclusively organic fruits, used in the recipes.
